Healing Forward

Overwhelming and though are two words that can properly describe the past year. On top of the pandemic and the different events, it was extremely difficult for the black communities because of the police brutality and racism that we all witnessed on social media. It was overwhelming. Despite the difficulties we all faced, we learned to be more grateful, to be more kind to ourselves and most importantly to be more aware of our emotions. Taking good care of ourselves is more important than ever.  It’s time to heal forward.

This little guide is for you. You can find some advice along with some resources, which will give you the necessary tools to practice good self-care. Taking care of yourself is every day, not just on Sundays. Taking care of yourself is more than just bubble baths, spa days or massages. Self-care is healing from trauma, setting boundaries, purging negativity, nourishing your body and more.

From now on, we are healing forward.
